This is a charming collection of prayers and blessing, drawn from a variety of world traditions; it includes both old favorites and some written especially for this book. I can imagine parents (or grandparents) sitting down with a child and having a wonderful time going through these prayers and blessings, and deciding which ones they would like to use together regularly. The selection is wide enough so that any family will find several prayers or blessings that suit their family traditions. And I know we will be using this book with the younger groups in our church school as well!
